Two greats of the music world, Eric Church and Bruce Springsteen, took to the stage recently and traded vocals on a song Springsteen wrote and released as part of his iconic “Born in the U.S.A” album in 1984.
The performance was part of a four-song set Springsteen played as part of the 2018 Stand Up for Heroes benefit held at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden New York.
The duos acoustic rendition of ‘Working on the Highway’ is very different from the rock arrangement Springsteen brought to that recording.
The evening raises money and awareness for the Bob Woodruff Foundation. The foundation's website says it "partners with community and national programs, organizations and the military community, and advocates like you, to create healthy, positive futures for our service members, veterans and their families."
So - how do rate Church and Springsteen as a duo, would like to hear more from them?
