Keith Urban loves to connect to people via song, concert or through regular conversation. That connectedness shows up especially when he’s performing on stage and special moments occur with his fans.
“I love people! I love people, and every single person’s got a story. We have so much more in common than different. We have fears and hopes and dreams and insecurities and egos and sicknesses and dysfunctional families. We have everything. We have so much more in common,” says Keith. “So, for me, I feel that. I feel it in my life way more than I’ve ever felt it and playing live shows is no different. [It’s] exactly the same.”
Keith is currently making his way up the country charts with his latest song, “Never Coming Down.”
The reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year launches his tour Down Under January 23rd in Newcastle, followed by shows in Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane and wrapping in Melbourne with a two-night stand on February 5th and 6th. Julia Michaels will open all shows.
Urban will also play a one-off acoustic set at Tamworth January 22nd - ‘A Benefit Show for Rural Aid Drought Relief,’ to take place as part of the 2019 Toyota Country Music Festival Tamworth at Tamworth Town Hall - the show sold out in 10 minutes.
