Detectives believe it wasn't a student who made threats against a Gold Coast school yesterday.
They have now charged a 36-year-old woman over the incident, that sent Upper Coomera State College into lockdown around 10:30 on Tuesday morning.
Police said while there was no credible information to indicate a direct threat to any individual or school, they takes all threats seriously with public safety their main concern.
The woman has been charged with use of a carriage service to menace or harass, wilful disturbance at an educational facility and fraud.
Queensland Police also reminded the community that making threats, regardless of the forum, is treated seriously and offenders face serious criminal charges with significant penalties.
