A Lone Wolf bikie has crawled through a second-storey bedroom window in a desperate bid to avoid capture by police during a raid at Varsity Lakes on

Wednesday morning

The 28-year-old was arrested on the roof of the property after being tracked down there by officers from Taskforce Maxima, along with Polair and Dog Squad officers.

Mobile phones and steroids were then found during a search of the property.

The man was arrested on a return to prison warrant and charged with drug offences and "obstruct police".

Acting Detective Superintendent Phillip Stevens said police would be relentless in tracking down bikies.

“The targeting of persons involved in criminal gangs remains a high priority for Taskforce Maxima," he said in a statement.

"Today’s apprehension is also a good example of how various disciplines within the Queensland Police Service can work together to ensure the safe and effective apprehension of a wanted person, whilst minimising the risk to the community."
