For the first time, the Gold Coast Show will be hosted at Broadwater Parklands--and it's free to attend!
It will be the first agricultural show to be held by the water.
Everything from side-show alley to camel rides on the beach and roving entertainment will take over the Parklands from the Southport Aquatic Centre through to the Sundale Bridge.
In a festival first, the event is hosting a nightly light show called LUMINOCITY.
Local musicians to international artists including Casey Barnes, Ivey and Peach Fur will hit the stage at the Great Lawn.
Friday August 31 (Public Holiday) 9am to 9pm
Saturday September 1 9am to 9pm
Sunday September 2 (Father’s Day) 9am to 9pm
Kids rides start from $5 per ride, and more adventurous rides from $7 per ride. Each rider operator will be offering multi-ride discounts. Bonus Dollars are on offer through the Gold Coast Show Facebook page.
The ideal way to get to the Broadwater Parklands is the Parkwood Park n Ride (via tram). Public parking is available at Parkwood Station, The Southport School and Owen Park. Carey Car Park Parking is available for $10. Australia Fair Parking is available at standard car park rates.
