COURT: Woman Jailed Over Mum Hit And Run
Sentenced To 18 Months

A woman who ran over another woman at Labrador before leaving her on the road has been sentenced to 18 months jail.
29-year-old Rebecca Holden was on parole when she struck Chanda Vann in November 2018.
The vehicle ran over the mother-of-two's legs and abdomen but luckily the injuries were not life threatening.
Ms Holden pleaded guilty in Southport Magistrates Court on Tuesday to a number of offences, including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and hit and run.
She will be eligible for parole in May this year, and was disqualified from having a driver's licence for two years.
