If you want to get work in the film industry, now is your chance!
Hundreds of jobs are set to go to Queenslanders, when the live-action Dora The Explorer movie starts production on the Gold Coast in August.
Around 500 locals are expected to score work on the flick, in a heap of jobs ranging from extras, to film crew and other behind-the-scenes roles.
Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate encouraged producers to pick job hunters from this area, saying we have plenty of local talent to choose from.
"Dora explore no more, you can get all the entertainers and back of camera expertise right here on the Gold Coast," he said.
