The Dreamworld Inquest continues today with the coroner set to examine similar malfunctions on the Thunder River Rapids ride in the years leading up to the fatal disaster that claims four lives in 2016.
On Tuesday it was revealed an external engineer gave the
ride the all-clear during an annual safety inspection, just eight days before the tragedy.
A full audit wasn't completed with the expert only doing a visual inspection.
Meanwhile a lawyer representing a family of one of the victims questioned the so-called "culture of secrecy" regarding similar incidents on rides at the park.
However junior engineer Gen Cruz, who returned to the stand yesterday, denied there was such a culture.
