Vaccinations rates on the Gold Coast are at their highest level in five years.
More than 92 percent of five-year-olds had all their jabs in the last financial year.
That figure is up three percentage points on 2012/13.
Despite the improvement, the rate was still below the 95 percent national goal to achieve herd immunity, with more than 1,700 hundred local children not fully immunised.
Surfers Paradise parents, in particular, are being urged to get their kids vaccinated, with nearly one in four two-year-old children in the suburb falling behind on their injections.
The rate for two-year-olds there is at 86.8 percent.
