It looks like the Gold Coast is the place to be for people who love acai bowls, man-buns and a good coffee.

The city has been named the Hipster Capital of Australia by a U.S. study, that compared how many trendy shops we have (like cafes, vegan restaurants, boutique clothing stores and record shops), to the population.

It turns out the Glitter Strip has 140 coffee shops per 100,000 people.

In a big shock for Melbourne, Victoria's Capital came in at number five, behind Cairns, Hobart and Geelong.

According to News Corp, the report found large cities are just too big to be hipster heaven.
