Hundreds of tradies have to be rounded up again, after contractors were told they could return to work at the Jewel development in Surfers Paradise.
Around 450 staff, half of the 900 people employed at the site, were let go in the two weeks since the three-tower project stalled.
After a supposed redesign by developers and dozens of meetings with unions, workers have been given the green light to get back to work.
They will be back on site from Monday, but it could be a while before construction gets into full swing again, as the troops are re-gathered and while safety checks are done.
The CFMEU said workers have been given certainty through to Christmas.
