Police are calling for witnesses to come forward, after a pedestrian was reportedly struck by a vehicle in Carrara.
Emergency crews were called to the corner of The Boulevarde and Grande Avenue around 8pm on Wednesday night, with reports a man had been hit by a car.
They arrived to find a 28-year-old man with what looked like minor injuries, but his condition later deteriorated, leaving him in fighting for life in hospital.
The man was allegedly spotted earlier in the night threatening the driver of a car with a rock, and mounting another vehicle, in separate incidents.
Officers are urging anyone who may have witnessed any of the incidents, or have dashcam footage of the man, to please contact police.
