Better fill the car up now before it's too late, with fuel prices continuing to skyrocket on the Glitter Strip.
Petrol is on track to hit an unwanted four-year high, with 60 percent of service stations on the Gold Coast already charging around 160¢ per litre for unleaded.
The RACQ has slammed service stations for bumping prices up so much.
"The average really has jumped in the past couple of days going now to $1.52, with some service stations up as high as 161.9¢ per litre, which is just outrageous," said RACQ spokesperson Renee Smith.
"We could hit a four year record on the Gold Coast if the average cracks $1.60".
"Fill up now, do not hesitate," she said.
