It looks like plenty of people are moving to the Northern Gold Coast, according to new figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
From 2016 to 2017, there was a population growth of more than 4.5% in Biggera Waters, Hope Island and Ormeau, while Coomera recorded an increase of more than 10%.
However, those figures were nothing compared to the whopping 30.8% boom in Pimpama.
The figures show an extra 3,000 people moved in to the up-and-coming area over that year, making it the third fastest growing suburb in Australia.
It came in behind Yuroke in Melbourne (35%), and Coombs in the ACT (34%).
