Police Swoop On Bikies In Cross-Border Crackdown

Gold Coast and Tweed Police have worked together in a cross-border crackdown on motorcycle gangs.

Officers raided around 10 properties across Cudgen, Banora Point, Tugun and Carrara, allegedly seizing guns, cash, explosives and drugs.

A 47-year-old man was arrested following the raid in Carrara.

He's been extradited across the border to face court today, and is also accused of being involved in an incident while visiting a jail in New South Wales in 2014.

Police also reportedly drug tested known gang members out on bail or parole, allegedly finding several with cannabis or ice in their systems.

They will be dealt with by Queensland Probation and Parole.
