A record number of international tourists are flocking to the Gold Coast.
The latest statistics show 1.1 million overseas visitors stayed on the Glitter Strip in 2017.
That was a whopping 4.1 percent up on the previous 12 months.
The visitors also spent 2.1 percent more while they were here last year compared to 2016, forking out $1.2 billion.
Most of the overseas holiday makers were from China, with a 5.7 percent increase in visitors from the country, while we also saw a spike in tourists from India and Canada.
