Riders Injured In Cyclist Pile-Up At Carrara

Paramedics have taken two patients to hospital after a push-bike pile-up in Carrara.

The Queensland Ambulance Service was called to Nerang Broadbeach Rd shortly before 6:00 on Thursday morning, with reports multiple cyclists had collided.

They assessed three people at the scene, and found one woman was suffering from back pain after the smash, and another had an ankle injury.

One was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital, the other to Robina Hospital, while the third person but didn't require transport.
