It comes after a car flipped at Carrara on the slick roads around 9am on Friday.
The smash happened on Nerang Broadbeach Road, with the driver refusing treatment from paramedics.
While a single car crash at Miami earlier this morning landed a man in hospital with a serious head injury.
Critical care paramedics transported him after the crash on Pacific Avenue just before 6am.
Police are urging motorists to slow down and drive to the conditions, and steer clear of flooded roads.
