Police have charged a teenager over that terrifying abduction outside Pindara Private Hospital in Benowa on Friday.
The 25-year-old nurse was allegedly attacked by a group of men wearing balaclavas and armed with knives and a handgun in the hospital car park around 3:30am.
Police claim the worker was forced into the boot of his own vehicle, driven to Parkwood and ordered to withdraw cash from an ATM.
He was then put back in the boot where neighbours found him after the car crashed into a fence on Kurrambee Drive in Ashmore, around 4:20.
A 17-year-old Ashmore man has now been charged over the incident.
He will face court today charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, armed robbery, torture and deprivation of liberty.
Police are still questioning a 16-year-old boy who was taken to hospital after another nearby crash a short time after the incident took place, as well as two 18-year-olds, arrested at a Como Crescent address in Southport on Saturday morning.
