Massive crowds have turned out for the grand opening of the new $470 million Westfield Coomera.
People were lining up from 7am on Thursday before the doors officially opened at 9am for shoppers.
Around 100 of the stores were open for business, including the dining precinct, with another 40 to open in time for Christmas.
Centre manager Lauren Frew admitted she had a few sleepless nights in the lead up to the big day.
"A few, that's OK though," Frew said.
"We've got a huge community that's been so excited for this to open so I didn't want to let them down."
Four days of festivities and special offers kicked off to mark the occasion, including live music, light and fireworks displays, kids activities, specials deals at a number of stores and plenty of freebies.
