The foster father of Logan schoolgirl Tiahleigh Palmer is set to plead guilty to her murder.
Lawyers for Rick Thorburn indicated during a review of the case in Brisbane's Supreme Court on Monday he will admit to killing the 12-year-old.
He has yet to enter a formal plea on the charges of murder and interfering with a corpse, but a lawyer for Mr Thorburn reportedly confirmed outside court he would plead guilty.
The matter has been scheduled for sentencing on May 25.
Thorburn is accused of killing his 12-year-old foster daughter at Chambers Flat in October 2015, allegedly to protect his son.
Wife Julene was sentenced to 18 months in jail for perjury and attempting to pervert the course of justice last year.
While their two sons Trent and Josh have also been sentenced to jail.
