Anyone looking for an affordable beachfront home on the Gold Coast should check out the southern end of the city.
According to the latest data from CoreLogic, Tugun had the cheapest ocean-side suburbs on the Glitter Strip with the median price for a house sitting at around $632,000.
Miami was the next best suburb for a bargain, however a home there will set you back an extra $100,000 compared to Tugun.
Currumbin was third with a median price of $787,000.
Overall sales activity across the Gold Coast fell 15% over the year to August, while home values rose about around $26,000, and units by $11,000.
