A group of major studios have filed an application in the Federal Court of NSW to ask for 74 more pirating sites to be blocked in Australia, according to Fairfax Media.
The move comes on the back of a ruling in December last year that compelled ISPs to block 61 sites like the Pirate Bay and Torrentz.
The sites affected this time around include Limetorrents, Putlocker, Megashare and more.
If this new endeavour is successful, the number of blocked sites would raise to 135.
The application asks the court to order ISPs to “take reasonable steps to block access to the target online locations”.
"The owners or operators of the target online locations demonstrate a disregard for copyright generally, in that they provide easy access to the copyright works of others, in many cases on a free basis," the application says.
The next hearing is set for March 23.
