Police have discovered the body of a child in the Murray River, following a search for the missing child.
Authorities were made aware that the five-year-old was missing in the Murray River on Thursday.
A search operation, involving local police and divers, located a body at 11.35am today, and it is believed to be that of the young child.
It has been reported by dailytelegraph.com.au that the mother of the boy was been charged yesterday with one count of attempted murder after trying to drown her two sons. The report says that the charge will be upgraded to murder.
The older child, nine-years-old, is currently in hospital.
