It's an indisputable fact that the Gold Coast is a city rich with heritage, however on the flip side the state of change we are constantly in is prominent and at times, overwhelming.
Whatever happened to the 5pm sun cascading across the beach rather than the shade that's now cast by the seemingly endless jungle of high rises? How about the old chairlift on magic mountain that provided an unparalleled view of our skyline?
You probably haven't thought about that it a while, have you? Of course, change is necessary for improvement, but how about you let us take you for a walk down memory lane and enjoy this gallery of how the Gold Coast beaches used to look back in the day.
