Last month NBL clubs were put on notice that swearing during timeouts could result in fines from the game's governing body.
Cameras in team's timeouts were added to the broadcast coverage for the first time in the 2018/19 campaign.
However, after some choice language from a few players and coaches were broadcasted, the NBL decided to crack down.
Although, it wasn't met well by players, officials and fans.
However, speaking on Triple M's The Weekend Legends, Sydney Kings coach Andrew Gaze believes the NBL needs to adopt an area of NBA broadcast coverage.
The NBA currently doesn't show timeouts live, instead it screens part of the stoppage later in the broadcast.
Gaze wants the NBL to head down this path.
