You may have heard of Skewers diners; its been warming the hearts and igniting the appetites of Toowoomba residents, and now, the popular Indonesian street food eatery has landed on the Gold Coast.
Owners, Lindra Cahya and her late husband Josh Budiman, began the venture with the focus on family and share-style dining.
Now Cahya is even more determined to pursue her husband’s dream with the expansion of Skewers at The Oasis in Broacbeach.
Quietly opening to the public on Saturday, Cahya is hoping to maximise the restaurants exposure during the upcoming Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
If the name is anything to go by, its specialty is... skewers!
Chicken, beef, lamb, pork, vegetable or tofu skewers served either straight-up, in a meal, on platters or with a combination of delicious sides including house-made spring rolls, dumplings, beef pockets, chicken and prawn wontons and pork belly bao!
