After 6 and a half years serving up breakfast panacotta to foodies everywhere, Elk Espresso finally starts a new chapter tomorrow.
It's set up shop just down the road, joining the likes of Alto, Main Street and Harajuku Gyozoa at the newly revamp Oasis precinct in Broadbeach.
It's pretty right? Well, what we're about to tell you next may come as a shock.
This has come to life in just 5 weeks. The team has managed to transform an empty shell entry way into their iconic cafe.
It may be Elk Espresso 2.0, but it's still got the traditional Elk vibe, featuring iconic elk imagery on the back wall, lots of greenery and copper detail.
Opening its doors on the 15th December, they'll be offering FREE takeaway coffee all day for the three following working days (Friday, Monday and Tuesday). That's a whole lotta coffee.
"We want to get to know all of the locals - and what better way to get to know them then to shout everyone coffee"
- Andrew, Elk Owner
Hold onto your scrambled eggs, because they're also launching their new Summer menu with apple sorbet, pineapple marshmallows and blue berry custard doughnuts and poke on toast with fresh Tasmanian salmon and coconut mango.
But if you're a true Elk local we can already hear you saying "But where's my favourite bacon hash breaky?!". Don't worry it's there, along with the cafe favourite breakfast Panna cotta.
Ready for new friends and old locals, the team at Elk Espresso (2.0) will open their doors from 6am tomorrow.
